Cloth or Suede seats, for hot summer & HPDE track days

Looking for those who have had experience with both. I have leather now and it's killer in the south TX summers also I'm going to start doing some HPDE track days so need something with a little more grip.

Assuming the base cloth ones stay 'cooler' than the suede seats do but I've never sat in either so need some advice. Also do the base seats grip enough for the track?

Opinions? Thanks

I like my suedes but I've never tracked in a base cloth. Maybe Fritz will chime in.

I do highly recommend a CG-Lock if you're using stock seatbelts and seats. Huge help regardless of seat material.

Been running base cloth for about a year now. got through summer just fine, I do have A/C though. but the car also sits outside in the sun 24/7. so yeah, i have no complaints.

Either would be a better option than the leather seats, so I don't think you could really go wrong. Just get what's cheapest/nearest to you.

Leather is nice, but cloth may be more practical for your application
