just use a heat gun to soften the silicone sealant and pull it apart. if you cant do it with a heat gun, try popping it in the oven, and see if it works.

BTW, they do not sell those same lenses in clear versions.

clear lens

Just put the whole lens assembly (one at a time) in a preheated 250 degree oven for about 40 seconds to a minute. Basically, just keep an eye on it. When you take it out of the oven, the seal around the lens will be soft and you can use your flat head then. You will have about 30 seconds time to do this and work it because it will start to harden again. You might have to put it back in for another 20 seconds to stay on top of the cooling process. Just becareful how you separate everything, if you mess around too much with the sealant, it won't form a good seal when re-assembling. Make sure it's soft when putting it back together.
After you get the lens off, use a small phillips screw driver to take out the 2 screws holding in the orange reflector. Good luck....

I boiled mine in a pot on the stove. I think this is safer than using a heat gun or baking. I've never tried baking, but I have had bad experiences with heat guns and headlight housings. If you boil it, you can always keep a close eye on the pieces to make sure they are not melting. Its also a lot easier to rotate them around. However, I've heard that all three ways work, so just be careful with whichever one you choose. good luck.

i see how boiling it would work to get the pieces apart, but what do you do when you are done and want to put them back together?? . you would then have to use a heat gun or oven.

I think he is talking about the ones on the side that are $160 for clears, not the front.

I didn't use a heat gun or oven at all. After I opened the light housing, I unscrewed the orange plastic piece and removed it. I think it was only one screw and it took me about one minute to remove. When i had finished removing the orange piece I put the housing back together. The glue was still hot enough so that the pieces fit back together before it began to set. You may need a heat gun or the oven, if you take too long because the glue will harden like JoeD said. However, if you are just removing the orange piece, you should have ample time to reset the pieces together before the glue dries. Also, you will need to dry the water out of the housing after you have reassembled the lights. I wiped the large deposits of water out as much as I could before resealing the lights. I used a hair drier to remove the remaining moisture. Hope this helps.
