Cleaning up the stock intake elbow
Well, I was replacing the AIT and took the intake elbow off in the process. I tried cleaning it before without much luck and was getting tired of looking at how dirty it was looking so I decided to do something about it. I went to an autoparts store and found some engine paints. I purchased Dupli-color's Metalcast paint in the colour of Ground Coat - it matches the stock look almost perfectly. You can spray it on very thinly and get great results and the paint sets very fast for easy multiple coats. All I did was mask off the ends of the pipe and it looks brand new. Just thought I'd share this idea with the rest of you
