Cleaning the car... Pics and questions
I bought my car in July from an impound lot. (you may remember my posts when I bought it) Anyways I have been trying to figure out what exactly has been done to it. The car has a DP, and a Midpipe. The car also boosts 12-10-12 and doesn't leak. The engine bay was extremely dirty so I figured now is the time to clean it. I bought myself a efini y-pipe and cross over tube. Polishing the UIM and other things. As you can see from the pictures a big improvement so far. I am not done yet though. Here is my question - There are a few vacuum lines that are plugged. Does this mean I have non-sequential or simplified sequential or something else? If the vacuum lines aren't an indication how else could I tell? Thanks for all your help

Hey Jerm it's Fish. Nice dude, times like this make me glad to be in this hick hometown of ours L.M.A.O. The car is coming great just a little more time under the hood and touch up on the paint. I must say "respectfully" one of the nicest cars around!!!

I used a rag and windex to get all the grime off. Then I used some car wax and actually just applied a tiny layer of wax and it brought the shine right out of the paint. I also used armor all on the all the black plastic pieces. I am really happy with the results. I never thought the engine bay could get that clean.

Since you're running a midpipe without an airpump, you can remove the split air pipe on the side of the LIM and cover the opening with a block off plate. I would get rid of that stock AST as soon as possible, it doesnt look too good. Either an aluminum replacement tank or delete it altogether with the fc cap assembly (you need a 2 piece filler neck for this). You might want to consider replacing all your coolant hoses (rad, turbo, ast, heater, motor, etc) while you're in there---ray crowe is running a sale for a complete set for around $150.
