Cleaing...

About to start cleaning the engine bay...any word of cautions before i start? I usually use Simple green to break up the dirt, and a engine De-greaser to take off the heavy stuff, folowed by some carb cleaner and Armor All to make things shine! Everything under the hood is pretty much stock (for now) so i dont have to worry about covering the filters or anything, but maybe the alt.? Anybody else have some tips-advice, let me know, thanks.

BTW...tried searching, didnt find anything to my liking.

If you take off any parts, disconnect the battery just in case, and just make sure you plug any intake piping so you don't drop any unwanted items into the combustion chamber.

Other than that, have at it.
