clank sound redetermined...?

I posted before about a "clank" sound that I heard comming from the front of the car when going slow (parking lot speeds) and turning the wheel. I then noticed that, if I brake firmly, but not all the way, I can feel small clicks, (not ABS pulsations) but clicks, and then it is followed by the clank. Do the clicks in the braking have something to do with the clank Im hearing? or am I now getting a new problem with my brakes, and the clanking is still suspension related? I can also sit at a stop, and after braking to a stop, give the brake pedal a bit of pressure and feel those same "clicks".
