CJ Motorsports Inject Boss Adapter Install Question

I'm trying to install my fuel system and I'm running into a problem getting the injector boss adapter to fit in the secondary position (LIM). The bosses fit perfectly in the primary ports, but there is no place for the secondaries to go. The diffuser and seal are almost flush with the top of the boss.

Do you need to remove the diffuser and seal to get these to fit? I think I'm just missing something but wanted to make sure before I break something.

Any help is appreciated.

Everything fits properly once the diffusers and seals have been removed from the manifold. Trial and error got me here...

Anyone using the CJ rails and spacers notice any issues not running the diffusers in the LIM?
