Circuit Sport Ignition amp?

I was browsing around on ebay and came across this.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Circu...item53e40cf55a

Just wondering if any one had used or have heard of them and if you have how do you like it ?

Circuit Sports Plug and Play (PNP) ignition amplifier for Mazda RX7 FC3S, RX7 FD3S and RX8. Stock ignition amp works around 12-12.5V, CS ignition amp provides true plug and play solution to bridge between the stock ignition harness by using your stock OEM coilpacks to bump up the voltage up to 16.5V safely.

Note: Please specify model when ordering!!

With increased voltage in the spark more torque and HP can be achieved through out the entire RPM range regardless of engine setup. With its intrictate built in circuitry, CS ignition amp has a built in failsafe mode in the event if amp failed, the ignition system will return back to OEM normal state without any drivability or stalling issues.

Kit comes with unit, mounting and hardwares and PNP harness

* This item is backed by one year manufacturer warranty

yea I'm curious too.
I don't really think I'm going to need to upgrade my ignition with the setup I plan on running. However, I'm always on the look out for a steal on a twin power, but apparently twin powers have a high failure rate. There is a thread on here somewhere with some kid that just found his 2nd twin power has failed, some others chimed in as well.

Anyways, it would be great to know of we have some other options to the twin power.

I would put the Twin Power up with the PFC as the most reliable aftermarket FD components. Where is this failure rate data?

There are hundreds (thousands?) of FDs running around with Twin Powers.

If it were unreliable, you would not be looking for *a* thread.

Yeah, twin powers are damn hardy. I wouldn't take that as a problem with the twin power, they're quality product.

I'd be much more worried with that Circuit Sports. Stuff like ignition amps, when they fail, the car doesn't go places. You want quality.

Nice, then imma just pick up a twin power.

Maybe that op on the thread i posted has an issue with his electrical system or something causing his twin powers to fail prematurely.

I haven't really done a lot of research on upgrading the ignition system because I don't think the setup for my rx7 would really require one.

Here's a vid I came across of someone running the Circuit Sport Ignition Amp.. The video doesn't say much but figured I'd post it anyway.

the circuit sport is a knock off of the Twin Power. I dont know if i trust it though. I haven't had much experience with their products.

Relax. The OP asked if anyone has run it in their own cars.. Since no one has and I happen to come across the video I figured why not post it. Didn't realize that you would get your period over it, sorry.
