Chrome trim around gauges

Almost all the chrome paint around the gauges has peeled/ worn off. My car is in great condition otherwise, so I'm thinking someone used chemicals or something to clean the guage faces.

Is there an easy fix for replacing the gauge surrounds?

It's best just to get a new gauge cover. They used to be about $65 from Malloy Mazda.

Good stuff. Is it $60 for the set? Also do i have to tear down the cluster to do this?

Yep, it's a separate panel in the instrument cluster. It's all one piece. You have to take the instrument cluster apart to put it in, but that's pretty simple - you don't have to take the gauges apart or anything.
