i purchased my fd about 4 months ago. since then i upgraded almost everything, including a pfc w/commander. with the original ecu out, i cracked it open and noticed it was chipped! i have no idea what kind of chip it is.

ive been chipping ecu for hondas/acuras for about two years (side job). chipping the rx-7 ecu, seems almost the same except for the daughter card. does anyone know where to purchase the daughter card? the daughter card seems easy to make but it might be easier and cheaper to purchase. i know about the diff maps and setups, but has anyone ever chipped their own ecu?

how do you know its chipped? pictures? maybe i also have a chipped ecu

 

If you pull off the cover, its pretty obvious. That daughter card is not that cheap by the way. I don't know if Pettit will actually sell it by itself, I'd guess not, but you never know. But...if yours is already chipped, you already have a card...why get another one?

well i emailed the previous owner of the car. he told me it is a pettit unlimited ecu. for sale by the way

i want another daughter card b/c i want to chip my friend's ecu. i have already copied the unlimited chip and loaded in my computer. all i need is the daughter card. if i cant buy it ill make it...but if anyone knows where to get it, let me know. thanks
