Check your starter bolts

Just an FYI, found my lower starter bolt loose and same on a friend's third gen. This appears to be a good candidate for some lock tite or a good lock washer next time round.

I've never had a problem with them coming loose, good find though.

mine was also loose when I went to change out the starter
it was the one with the nut on the back of it tho I believe the top one. And the sad thing is this is probably the only part on the car that I had my mechanic install instead of me. Hey maybe they just get loose...

The top one is sort of a PITA, mine was loose slightly but te bottom was rock solid. I usually loc-tite all of the stuff like this but I didnt bother with the top bolt
