I recently just purchased an ACT Clutch kit because my clutch was shot and i was getting alot of chatter when the car sat at idle.. the noise would go away when the clutch was pressed down though... so after installing the clutch kit and buying a good condition fly wheel from KDR its still making the chater at idle....I have no idea what it could be and i hear a noise which sounds like a whine when driving under the shifter.... need some help

 

What other parts did you change out with clutch? Pilot bearing? Throw-out bearing?

 

both the pilot bearing and the throw out bearing were replaced... i thought replacing them would have made the chatter go away but no luck

 

Sounds like a bearing or something in your trans
