Changing MOMO steering wheel button?

So I have a momo steering wheel I’m going to put on my fd, and I ordered an Efini logo’d button to put on but the button that came is just a little wider than the original. I could just do a little sanding and make it fit, but is it possible to get JUST the button out and swap them? Thanks for any help!

I just replaced the button on my Momo wheel. That Efini logo button is not a Momo part so the fit could be a bit off.

The old button I had was larger and popped right into the hole in the middle of the wheel. The new button was smaller, I had to get a metal trim ring thing to make it fit. They normally come with either the wheel or the adapter, I've seen them before.

That said the small button and the adapter ring were a TIGHT fit, at first I didn't think it would go in but after working on it and taking my time I figured out that it would pop in. You had to start on one side and work the thing in. Makes for a nice, snug and secure fit.

I would fully insure the horn button is too big before getting the Dremel out.

the website I ordered from said they used momo parts but just redesigned the actual button, so either they are lying and you’re right or maybe a different model? Idk I don’t have any experience in various momo wheels just the one lol but thanks! I’ll see if I can squeeze it in and if not, out comes the Dremel! Thanks for the input tho
