is it hard to replace the manifold that always crack, i believe it is on the secondary turbo. It seems to go around the exhaust side of the turbo.

I just replaced my turbos and the old ones(with 115k miles) had a bunch of crack and one big one, but it wasn't hurting anything. I'm pretty sure that unless a crack goes around a flange or is just huge you don't need to worry. To actually replace it, though, I think, means replacing the entire turbo housing. If it's that bad I would just look into a rebuild or stocks with low miles.

it's about as difficult as convincing the pope to get a sex change...well, not that hard, but it's difficult enough to convince me to go single turbo

huh? is it really that hard?
i have the turbos of the car and i have a spare manifold that is like perfect, is it that hard to change or if it is only removing nuts and bolts and putting them back on?
Is there any problem involving the blades of the turbo?

Why do you want to change it?
Is it leaking exhaust? Problem with boost?
Mine has plenty of cracks, its normal unless they cross the flange and leak exhaust.

It's pretty easy to take it off. When you're trying to put it back on............... all i can say is good luck. I did mine 1 week ago and it took me 1 hr or less to take it off and a day to put it back on there lol. I suck anyway. Line up those bolts is the hardest part.
