If you like that stinging feeling from fuel in your pits, go for it. I did the depressurization thing and still got my pits full of gas.

I'd rather cut a hole from the other side and make an access hatch than do that again. I wonder if that can be done.....I'm gonna go look.....

Yeah its not to bad just follow the manual. I used a small pair of vise grips with a sock covering the ends so it wouldn't puncture the lines and pinched them closed and got almost no fuel spill, just a few drops. It was my first time doing it and Im glad I did it myself.

Assuming you have a good assortment of 1/4" drive ratchet extensions and a 10mm socket, the bolts are easy to get to. There's enough room under there to grasp the filter and the fuel hoses to pull them off. The main problem is that you can't see what you're doing, but there's more than enough room up there to get your hands in, and pulling off hoses isn't exactly complicated.

Glassman's absolutely right. It should take you around an hour the first time, assuming you're relatively mechanically inclined and nothing goes horribly wrong.
I have big hands, I don't know if that makes a difference but I just found it nearly impossible to manuever my hands around that crossmember and the differential.......

I finished in about 2 1/2 hours from the time I jacked the car to time time I drove it around...wasn't too bad, I bet I could do it faster now that I know where everything is
