Changing the door chime?

Has anyone ever experimented with replacing the annoying piezo speaker for the door chime with something less annoying or more modern?

It appears to be this small piezo speaker like out of Radio Shack on the main board for CPU2. I’m wondering if I can just desolder it and solder on a chime from another car. I just don’t know if the voltages or etc would be compatible?

I think I played around with it once, the speaker is 5v and many of the speakers out there are 12v. It's in the black CPU #2.

I think it also does the warning buzzer.
