Changed Plugs...now 3k idle won't go down!!

I just changed the plugs on my FD. Started it up and it automatically went to 3K idle (Always does when cold start). As usual, I tapped on the pedal to bring the idle down,......BUT the idle does not come down. If I tap on the pedal it goes up a little and starts coming down to 3K where it stabilizes . It will not come down below 3K.

To change the plugs I took off the Greddy elbow to allow better access. I connected everything back.

Q.) Is there some kind of idle relay near the plugs I may have accidently disconnected??

Q.) Is it idleing this high because of the new plugs??

One thing I do notice now and not before, the BOV is venting mass amounts of air while the car is idleing at 3K. What did I do wrong???. Need your help. Thanks.

Did you accidently increase your idle somehow? Try the idle screw see if that helps any. Also have you tried starting it in gear to see if that helps any? Plugs won't make it idle high because they just spark, that's it. They have no control over idle speed higher then oem.

I didn't mess with the idle. My fd is an auto so I don't think it'll start in gear. The only thing the car is doing differently is that it's not coming down from 3K idle. It's staying at 3K. And also, the BOV is venting/blowing alot of air through it.

Make sure your thottle cable isn't kinked on something.

Do you have cruise control? If so, make sure that cable isn't cause your problem as well.

also, double check the plug wires so that you didn't get them mixed up on the wrong ones.

Mahjik: Once again YOU WERE RIGHT ON POINT!!!. It was the freagen throttle cable. I had kinked it to the side of the stru tower when I removed the Greddy compression tube. So simple and easy to do. FD is back to normal. THANKS!
