Smile Center section rearlight ??

Hello wankelfreaks !

I have a question about installing stop light in the rear light center section, how do you do that ? I mean, I can not see any leading/sockets for the 3 stoplights !! I have just bought the Sonar aftermarket rearlights, so this is why I would like to have lights in them when you hit the brake, thank's.

You have to remove the entire center piece and both tail lights to access the light sockets.

European fd's didn't come with lights for the center piece. You'll have to buy a complete jdm center piece that comes with lights.

To access just the light sockets in the center brake light, all you have to do is remove the cover panels. One ahead of each tail light (triangular in shape, 3 screws each), and the center cover panel (4 screws, I believe). At that point, you'll see the light sockets (if so equipped) and the 4 10mm nuts which hold on the center brake light assembly.

To remove the center brake light itself, you will have to remove the tail lights. Pull them straight towards the side of the car to disengage them from their mounting posts, then unplug the light bulbs from the tail lights by twisting. Remove the center brake light by unplugging the wiring harness plug and removing the 4 10mm nuts.

Hello EFS.O !!

yes you are right I have a european model, so I have now ordered the wiering harness and sockets to plug into the center section ! but still I do not know where to connect this, because I can not find the other connect socket?
Can I connect to one of the already installated stoplight - to the right or left and how? thank's a lot.
