CD009 conversion shifter options

Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster.

So I'm halfway through my CD00A conversion and I don't see my S9 shifter turning up any time soon, so I'm looking at interim options to get the car back on the road.

Has anyone tried the GKTech or Xcessive Manufacturing shifters on an FD? Do they line up well, or were mods to the shifter hole required.

Apologies of this has been covered, I searched but couldn't find anything specific.

Yep, already got one on the way, but I don't see it arriving in the next three months. Looking for something to use in the meantime until the s9 turns up

It says early-mid Aug, but I suppose we’re already there

I have a new one still unopened in the box and would offer it as a swap for when yours arrives, but see you’re located down blunder. Not really going to make sense then.

Yeah it's been 2 months already and another 3-4 weeks has been the estimate each time I've gotten an update (most recently last week). Currently 80-something in the queue.

If you were willing to do an exchange that'd be amazing, obviously understand if you wouldn't though. I could probably just have my order shipped directly to you, and would cover the cost of shipping yours to me. If you're willing to entertain that I'll email serial9 to see if it's possible and CC you in.

GKtech shifter for cd009 to s13/240sx fits

For those wondering, I've just had the workshop fitting the gearbox measure up, and apparently the gktech looks like it'd fit the stock hole perfectly.

For reference, I'm using an adaptor plate (Mr Enforcer) that mounts the FD bell to CD box, on a factory manual 13b.

I've found a cd999 locally so ultimately won't end up fitting a gktech, but it looks like another option for those doing this conversion.
