Well my CD player has been turning on and off randomly. At first i thought it was a power problem but im still able to take the CD out of the head unit when it powers off so i believe i have an accessory power problem and not a constant power or ground problem. I know all my connections are good as i just rewired it because of this problem. So my question; is there a common problem with the accessory power going to the head unit? If not where can i tap into an accessory power supply to eliminate the hassle of tracing down the faulty accessory power problem to the head unit?

Check the fuse box. I had the same thing. turned out to be the dome light fuse.
