^ why a fresh coolant mix. after a year or so, wouldn't that mix be old and start corroding again?

wouldn't leaving everything completely drained, but sealed from air, be better for long term storage?

But wouldn't the coolant just go bad sitting for 2+ years & start eating some metal? & i guess with no coolant it probably rot like most JDM junk yard motors huh?
