Catalytic conveter question?

This is for everyone who has bought aftermarket high flow cats... On the FD's, there is an air pipe from the air pump that goes directly into the factory (main) catalytic converter. do the after market ( bolt on) cats have the hole to insert the air pipe, for air injection?

With a high flow cat is it still needed to have an air pump? Or is it just an emissions thing?

Keeping the air pump helps extend the life of the cat.
