Carpet

Okay I've searched the classifieds, seems like everyone wants what I do: black carpet. None available.

Can't afford to go to the Mazda dealer for one; is there any good source for FD carpets?

I searched around for every resource I knew and couldn't turn up anything. I could only find carpet for 1st and 2nd gens. My guess is no one makes a replacement carpet.

Your best bet would be to go to an automotive upholstery shop and have them make you some, or just cough up the cash at the dealer.

Sorry I couldn't be much help.

I think someone successfully died their floor mats from tan to black. If you have a tan carpet, or buy a used one, why not try dying it?

how do you dye it? just spray it on? i could see it being like paint and make the carpet hard and stiff. also the dye/paint might give off a shitty smell. thats the only reason why i wouldnt want to do that an just buy a new or used carpet, because im in the process of doing this myself.

is any of this true flyboy? im just guessing...
