Hey a guy did all this crazy modifications to his FD, and his carfax report is clean, ccept the mileage on the carfax is 60k and the odo is reporting 34k. Now, he told me he had to do all this "procedures" to get it passable in the smog test (here in california). His gauge cluster is new, so i'm not sure what to believe.. it can have 34 miles like he said, or it may have 100k.. who knows.. but i rode in his car, and it rode really well, no 5th gear synchro, no 3000rpm hesitation. Is this a common experience for you previous FD owners? especially someone who modified the gauge cluster?
