Car wount start agian???

Car won’t start again? I drove it for the first time since last summer, today. I drove it to the paint shop to get painted. Well i got there and let it idle while he took off my front bumper and then i pulled it ahead to the garage door and it just died. Then i try to start it again, and it just sits there and cranks over. Its low on gas but the light isn’t on so it aint that low. What in da hell is goin on with my car?

Is it on a slope?

The other day my car was warming up in my driveway and it stalled out and died. I backed it up into the street where it was flat and tried cranking it over and it fired up. Had to been the gas. I went right to the gas station and it only filled up 15.2 gallons of fuel. There is no way my tank is 19 gallons.

I've had mine run out of gas on a slope even though the gauge still registered and the gas light had not come on. Try the easy thing first - put more gas in it.

The second thing that could have happened is that water might have condensed in the tank while the car sat with a mostly empty tank over the winter, and some of it was picked up while you were idling. If the tank is almost empty, this might be a good time to drain it.
