ok this is the problem. at first when i started my car it was blowing whitsh smoke and idleing really rough to the point that its not driveable. it smells like unburt fuel coming out the exhaust. so i changed the plugs and wire and took out the precat i had on put a dp with new O2 sensor. now car wont start. it turns though. checked for a spark and im getting one but really really light dont know if its enough to even start. beforoe i had a problem which happens sometimes where it just click but no turn over. i thought it was the starter but i hit the started and thighened the wire but still does it sometimes. what could it be> i was think maybe the ignition coils are bad thats y the spark is so light to the point it wont burn the fuel. what should be my next step?

 

How white was the smoke and was it billowing out in clouds? Are you loosing coolant?

 

how many miles on the motor?

 

about 70K miles on motor. im not losing coolant eithier. that what i though wit white smoe but i definatly smells like fuel.

 

have you tried unflooding the car and putting in new plugs (also check the map sensor on the bulk head and make sure the pipe hasnt come off (common problem))

ok i narrowed it down. i tried starting it this morning but still no start. i pull the T2 traing plug and it was wet with fuel. tested for a spark and it is really really really weak. to weak to start the car. so i think it is the ignition coil. how do i check them and what is the price in replacing them oem or aftermarket.
