car wont start!Security sytem?

i have a 93 FD and it drives very good. but..... Yesterday it decided not to turn on. the battery is good and when i try to start it, it cranked but wouldn't start. so I tried push starting it with friends and that didn't work . But i have a feeling their is no fuel going into the engine. and another thing i noticed is that the security light was still blinking on the dash. so can it be that the security system is giving me a fuel cut? if so how can i fix this problem?

I think the alarm system would not allow the engine to even crank.

does your engine and brake light pop up wen you crank the ignition? if not, same thing happened to me and it was the wiring underneath the steering wheel

keep the keys in the ignition and leave it on battery mode, you can reach under and feel the wires and jus push the wires up and the lights shud pop up

If it were the security system the engine wouldn't crank at all so that's not it.

First and simplest thing you might want to check is for flooding, next thing to do is check if your fuel pump is turning on and try jumping it through the diagnostic port. Look through the FAQ at the top of this 3rd gen threads, or just do a search and you'll find instructions on how to do all of that and more quickly.
