Car wont start with new coil

so i replaced my leading ignition coil yesterday, and when i got the car all back together, it now wont start. i checked everything on the intake manifold, and everything seems to be hooked up right. and i checked to see if i was getting spark from the new coil, and i am... but the car wont fire up. smells really strong of fuel when i try to start it also. i've checked everything i can think of that could have come loose while working on it but cant find anything. The car has power, and the turn the key, it cranks, but just wont fire.

Any suggestions of anything i else i should check?

I know it's elementary, but you need 3 things for combustion. Fuel, Air, and spark. It sounds like you're getting fuel, and you said you have spark. You sure you have air?

Hey are u really sure it's getting spark? Mine is doing the same **** and I deceide to hook up a computer tester from mazda and it give code 3 which is crank angle sensor, I have take it apart tomorrow and see if I made a mistake with the connectors, one is white and gray. I did alot of things on mine from fuel lines, fpr, damper relocated coil pack, new mop lines, so I was down in that area for the crank angle sensor, which replated to my problem which is no spark. Btw check your ingnitor and the connectors to coil park make sure they not broken off? btw does anyone know which connector goes to the right of the? there is two of them 1 white the other gray?

Ok, i went back through, checked to see if i was getting spark and am to each plug. I removed the manifold again, put back in the old coil, and double checked to make sure everything was was hooked up correctly and put it all back together very carefully making sure i didnt miss anything. everything seems fine but it still wont start.

I am definitly getting spark, you can smell gasoline when i try to crank it. What could cause me to not be getting air? does anyone else have any suggestions?

your fuel mix might be to rich to ignite in the chamber. did you remove the intake elbow fromt the car when working on the FD. when i replaced wires on my car there i removed the elbow and in addition without knowing there is a small vac line at the elbow that controls idle fuel mix ( the vac line connects to a small sensor if you unplug this your car will A run like complete crap or B will not run at all.
