So my cars been sitting for the past couple of months due to a suspended licence. I start the car and bring it up to operating temp once a week every week while it has been sitting...up until today when I tried to fire the car up all I hear is clicking from the ignition but the car doesn't start, and I don't hear the motor spinning.

I've searched...but as rx owners we know there are countless 'car won't start' threads here, and far too many to sift through for answers that only partially help me.

Any suggestions on where to start hunting for issues?

 

if all you hear is clicking, no cranking, then it might be the starter, check your battery too

 

Cranking the car up once a week and bringing it up to operating temp will not keep the battery charged up. Unless you drive the car above 2500 rpm for a period of time the battery will not replace the drain it took to start it. Charge the battery and see what happens.
