I have a problem. I was driving my car and when I stopped to shut it off it wouldnt shut off. I had to kill the car with the clutch but when I killed it the interior dash lights are still one so I had to disconnect the positive battery cable. The radio shut off when I switch the key off but just the lights are on. every time I put the positive wire back on the battery the lights turn on. any suggestins would be great thanks. its a 93 rx7

 

more than likely you have a shortage somewhere...this has happened to me before and it was a headache for me to figure out what was wrong so I took it to the local rotary shop and had them troubleshoot and locate the shortage...Good luck

no I dont have a turbo timer. my car was fine before but after I started it up and moved it back a little to wash my car then when I shut it off it wouldnt. thats all. what do you think. No turbo timer here.

 

fyi i think you're supposed to take off the negative cable to disconnect power. it's safer for some reason.
