I was on the highway, riding home from a mazda meet, about 15-20 car lengths and one lane over behind a truck. Next thing I know it get hit by at least ten good size rocks all at the same moment. It was almost as if someone was standing 5 ft. from my car with a hand full of rocks and they threw it as hard as they could.

Once I got home the first thing I saw a deep chunk out of my hood. I didnt want to get upset about it so I didnt look for anymore. Hope that was the only one but my gut tells me it is going to be worse once I go out and look this morning.

Almost would rather have taken them all on the windshield. After getting out there this morning there were about 5 new chips (probably 50 total in the nose area after only 2K- time to break out the touchup paint) but the worst one was the hood. And it wasnt as bad as I remembered it. Oh well, I am not going to keep it in a garage forever. If it gets too bad I guess I'll get it painted again.
