ok so ive searched like crazy and still nothing... so i did a battery relocation and now the car won't start... it cranks but wont start.. the battery im using is honda s2000 battery with 500 cca and i used all the same stinger equipment as written up in that one write up ...at first i thought it was the ground but i moved it to where the spare is.. i sanded down the area and ground it right there (i took out the spare) i relocated to the sp;ace behind the passanger seat.. any help?

 

First I would go back through the whole install and make sure no wires are cut and all connections are tight and proper.

Is the s2k battery new? I would mabe just hook up the other battery you were originally using (what was starting the car) and see if it turns it over to rull out/in the new battery.

Second, how long is your battery ground? If it runs from the passenget bin to the spare tire well that is a bit long for a ground. Typically you want that ground to be as short as possible.

I have just recently switched from the westco battery to an optima b/c if the westco sat for a little while it had large difficulty turning the car over. Maybe this battery you have has just sat too long.

 

I double grounded my battery which was relocated to the trunk, once where you put it, and once to the engine, don't know how much it helped as I did a few other things while I was at it, but it sorta fixed my idle problem. Look into an Optima, if you know someone that works at an O'Reillys parts store (don't know if you have them there) when they get Optima's in for core charges the employees can keep them. My buddy got me a red top for free, and these batteries RARELY go bad.

 

i had the ground a lot closer and it was the same issue... i had it right under the drivers side compartment.. and it did nothing .. ill check a different battery but at one point i did try jumping it and it did nothing.. also i have two wires coming from the top of the alternator.. the main one and then one long black wire.. i could have sworn that it was hooked up to the positive.. just not 100% sure anymore

As simple as it is id be looking at fouled plugs / flooded engine. The car turns over - thats certinly a good thing and leads me to believe you did the install correctly - after all your only putting a different battery in the car in a different location.
If your car was jacked up on a funny angle while you did work on it that may have flooded the engine.
