Last night wile racing a buddy at the local strip we noticed my 7 puffed out some smoke when I shifted from second to third. My car seems to be running fine so I thinking maybe my car is running a bit rich?

btw my car is stock other than a catback..

 

Depends upon the type of smoke white or blue/black. If it's happening on a shift, I don't think it's gonna be the white (which is bad, phew). If it's blue/black, it could be cause you are rich, or also if your turbos are gettin' a little unhappy and are puking oil. Either way, if it's only a little bit of smoke, it's nothing to worry about, our cars do that
