car shakes and stutters in first gear?

when i start moving the car slowly and release the clutch, the rear end stutters a bit when the clutch is about to be fully released. this happens in 1st and 2nd, but usually not in higher gears.

is this related to rear pillow ball bushings clunk? i noticed the clunking getting alot worse, and it appears that there is excessive engine torque at times on decel and accel.

could be the part of the problem. sounds like you're letting out a little slow.

LOL i think i know what he's talking about..happens to me sometimes..but before anything, i've been driving manual for 5 years now and i had this same problem with my talon i had last year..

during the warm/hot months, my 1st and 2nd gear would be sluggish.. in the mornings, it would be fine but in the afternoon when its hotter, the car will act like the driver is a beginner at stick..like before going in 1st, i have to rev higher for the car not to jerk or stall.. i think it has to do with something about the heat and sensors like when inside the engine bay is too hot, maybe the isc or the tps sensors get too hot? then they act funny?

idk, doesnt happen often in the 7

haha, yes i know how to drive.

the reason i bring this up is because it seems to be getting worse. im thinking it is either the rear shocks, differential mount or some bushings. you can actually here the rear end, sort of stutter right when the clutch is fully released.

if it makes a diffrenece, i know one differential mount is bad. i can see it leaking, and there is alot of torque steer on a semi hard launch. im going to replace the mounts, but wanted to know what was causing the stutter so i can replace either the shocks or the pillow bushings, i cannot afford to do them both right now.
