Car randomly started to idle at 600-800 RPM

Hey all! I’m back after a long hiatus with a question because I can’t seem to find another thread on this issue.

I have had my FD for 4 years now and in the last 2 months or so, during my drives the car randomly drops idle from 1200 to 800 to finally 600 RPMs. This happens occasionally, not all the time and usually during longer idle periods (damn red lights that take forever to change)

Before this, since I have owned the car, the car would also idle around 1000-1200 RPMs no matter how long we were sitting in neutral.

Wondering if anyone has any leads on why this would randomly start happening and also doesn’t happen all the time.

??? For an unmodified FD, idle is around 7-800 RPM. Why was yours idling around 1100?

The car is completely stock, yes. Ever since I have had it, idle has been around 1000-1200 when cold. When hot, it will drop to around 800 (according to a reddit post of mine)

I guess I have just gotten used to it being a little higher idle.

I am however concerned about the car now dropping to 600 sometimes, I rev it to ensure it does not stall but, it does feel like it is really taxed at 600 (hopefully this makes sense). Any guidance on this recent change and things I should be checking?

Cold idle is normally higher and 1000-1200 sounds about right if you start with the car in gear (clutch pedal down of course). If you start cold in neutral it'll be higher. Warm idle should be ~750.
