car goes to 7k on start up and won't come down

I'm clue less on to what happened, It was running fine the other day. I go to replace the grommets on the primary fuel rail and put it all back together like I done 20 times before. I had checked everything again, this is somthing new I've never seen before. TB cable is not binding I removed it off the UIM and tried starting and still shoots up way HIGH, little scared to touch it since it's my only transportation for now other car in shop.

Any info, no matter how stupid it might be to other people, I would greatly appricate.

thanks
Later Days

Check to make sure you reconnected TPS connection (or it's secure).

Went and looked at it again, gotta craked UIM, front side hole for enclosed nut is cracked, I must have tightened it too tight and broke it off, JB weld for temp usage holding for now.

now that that is solved anybody know why and idle won't hold and just keeps going up and down 700 > 1500 > 700 > 1500 etc...

What does a fluctuating idle have to do with a blown motor? There is no need to scare the guy.....sounds like a miscalibrated TPS to me.

Yes I tried adjusting the tps, and for the record I know what a blown motor looks/sounds like. LOL

The pfc reads the same specs as that one thread about adjusting the TPS.
