car on fire .. help on repair prices for fd3s

hi guys .. my car caught fire a few weeks ago .. i brought it to a shop and the mechanic gave me an estimate on how much it would cost and probably the parts ill need to get it up and running again .. the list goes:

harness = $795
air control valve = $547
fuel lines = $97
solenoid valves $280 to $330
injector = $243 x 4 = $972
labor = 8 to 10 hours = $580 to $720

if anyone could tell me if this seems right .. or recommend me to a site that has the parts for cheaper .. i am a poor college student .. so any help would be much appreciated .. thanks in advance

The parts will be cheaper from Malloy Mazda. He quoted me $525 for a harness, for example.

Are you sure those are the ONLY parts needing to be replaced? How 'bout intake temp sensor, fuel temp sensor, hose work, upper manifold gasket, and so on? Has he worked THESE cars before? 8-10 hours is good if he knows his stuff, but those hoses alone will be a few hours unless you don't really care about it working correct... Just my $0.02

The prices seem good to me. I had an engine fire as well but I am insured; my total parts and labor was just under $5000. The rubber fuel line between the primary and secondary rails was the culprit and I got the fire out QUICK with an extinguisher. Even then it was expensive.

Off the top of my head:

new harness
new injectors
new ACV valve
new OMP tubes
new vac solenoids
new one way valves
new hood liner
new underhood fuel lines
new water temp sensors
new fuel pressure regulator

PM me if you want.
