car dies on decelearation?

every so often with the A/C on, the car will die if i am breaking moderately hard and put the car in neutral, such as approaching a stop light or on the freeway off ramp. it seems to only happen on a quick deceleration with the car in neutral.

i have a light steel fly wheel if that matters. the engine check light code for the speedometer also comes on from time to time. have not had time to find the loose connection if that matters too.

Question

Do you have a power fc? If so, go to settings---rev/idle---decel f/c a/c and raise it to around 1500 rpms or so and see if that helps. If not, sorry for the irrelevant info

update. it's a grounding issue, look around. I made it far less severe by cleaning my negative battery terminal, but it's still there and I know that I have other loose wires so I can imagine it going away once I'm done fixing my wiring.
