Can't put the car in first gear hmm..

When I do not come to a complete stop, I can't put the gear into first. Do you guys know why? Only in complete stop I can put it in gear.

Have you tried swapping gear oil?

Are you referring to trying to put it into first and it'll grind if you try to force it in? If so, that is standard....but you should be able to put your car into 1st while rolling relatively slow. It is the syncro that prevents this, I think it is kinda a safety feature, not sure though, just to make sure when your downshifting you don't accidentally go from 5th to 1st

I just replaced my trans fluid with Redline and the shifter seems to move between gears much better. I had the same problem with first gear and it is better (but not gone) now with the new fluid.

might want to check the clutch fluid too. my daily driver has a slow leak in the clutch fluid reservoir - when it empties, I can't put the car in gear without grinding it & the clutch pedal feels really soft.

i had this problem about a month ago. it seemed as if i could not push the brake and shift at the same time for some reason. in anycase i just drove the car pretty hard shifting thru all the gears multipul (sp) times and it magically started to work like normal again. i hope you have as much luck. good luck
