Can't move the 7

The 7 won't start. It is an automatic and has been placed in "Park". It is parked in my garage and there is no way for a tow truck to get to it. How can I manually get out of "Park"?

Are you saying it's stuck in "Park"? If not, turn the key to "On", put the shifter into "Neutral" and roll the car out of the garage.

There should be a little tab next to the shifter. Pop that little panel off, and press the button in that is below it.

My solution:
  • Step 1: Perform auto --> Manual conversion
  • Step 2: Put car in nuetral, and roll it out of the garage
