Can't get into reverse
Hey guys just wondering why i can't get into reverse. At first it was hard for me to get into first and second but after i bleed the air out it was easier but i just can't get it into reverse. I know there's nothing wrong with the tranny because before installing the new engine it was working fine. So does anyone know why???
P.S. there are some plugs under the tranny, 3 plugs that goes into like 4 sensors i think. If you're looking at the tranny from under, the plugs are bolt on the left of the tranny by the driver side. on of those plug goes to 2 sensor on the right side of the tranny by the passenger side and the other two i don't know because it the wires for both broke off. So does any know how many sensors are on the tranny related??? and is this the reason why i can't get into reverse???

If you can shift into R while sitting still then the tranny is fine.
You probably have still more air in the lines preventing you from getting into Reverse. It took me a little effort to get it bled properly - you were using a 2-man method, right?
You will need the missing sensors. It won't prevent you from using reverse gear, but it can prevent the car from starting or showing the reverse lights (you'll fail inspection). I happen to have some spare sensors at my place if you need them.
