Can you powder coat the PPF?

I’ve looked everywhere. Can the PPF be powder coated? I feel like I have seen it done. On the back of it, it looks like there is seam sealer (but harder) so unsure if that will melt when baked.

Thanks

You could, but like you said, the non-metal area would not coat, and the powder-coater would have to have a big oven and may ruin the non-metal sealer. I sprayed mine with a rust remover, then used a metal prep spray, cleaned with acetone, and then used Eastwood semi-gloss chassis black enamel paint. I did it five years ago and it is still near perfect. Looks great.
