can you install a HKS SSQV with stock TT setup

i did a search and what mainly came across was how to mount the BOV.. i have seen pictures of engine bays with the HKS and the twin turbo setup but no close ups.. btu when confused me was that the pix i saw didnt show the BOV mounted to a metal charge pipe like i am used to seeig.. it was mounted by itself like on the firewall or fender well...

can anyone explain or show pix of the HKS SSQV with the stock twin turbo setup?

thing im curious about is currently i have 2 bypass valves one for each turbo how does one go aobut switching to just one bov lol.. sorry for the new newb question

and only one is your BOV anyways. The other is the Charge relief valve. Carefull before you just jump in and remove things just to get a cool whistle sound. lame IMO. Research before you start working on the car. Because you do not understand the basics of the turbo system used on this car. Apparentlt Not slamming you just warning you. Otherwise bad things happen quickly.

And there is TONS of info on this board about how the system works. Rob Robinettes site is a good place to start.

I Have the HKS. It is made just for the FD, and I got it at Stillen.com took me 22.5 seconds to install.

no need to update hoses it just plugs right in. instructions? here- take off old bov place new one in same spot. done. when you switch to a single set up sell the adaptor and just weld it on an intercooler pipe with a flange

Haha, what job would that be? Make a loud noise so everyone looks at your car when they're at the bus stop after the bell rings.

The stock BOV connects to the Y-Pipe via a hose and a couple of hose clamps. It does not connect or attach to any of the rubber intake hoses.

To install/remove a BOV you simply take the stock BOV off by unscrewing the hose clamp that attaches it to the hose. Also take the vacuum hose off the BOV nipple. You may have to pull/twist both hoses a little to slide them off.

Install the new BOV w/ elbow adapter in reverse order.

Purchasing hard intake or IC pipes is not necessary for this type of BOV install.
