Exclamation Can someone tell me what this wire is?

I pulled my upper intake manifold to replace a leaking pulsation dampener. I then left the manifold off for some time due to time constraints. So I start putting everything back together and everything's fine except I'm left with a single wire with a black connector hanging out between the spark plug wires out from under the coils close to the engine drivers side. I can't see where the other side of this thing is. Can someone tell me where the heck it goes? I can't seem to track it down on the manuals either.

Thanks

The knock sensor is going to be somewhat "closer" to the wiring harness and it will come off of the passenger (main) ecu harness. It will also be behind the alternator down in there to the right if that makes any sense. The P/S comes off the drivers side harness i think and has a longer wire. The oil pressure sensor is a clip rather than connector if I remember correctly.

My guess would be it's either the water temp, or the oil pressure.

Maybe it's the wire that goes to the throttle body? May be obvious, but I almost forgot it.

There is a ground(?) wire that connects to the coil "tray."

GT-C, that is good You found it. Both the knock sensor and power steering have the same one wire black clip. You might have to reset Your factory ecu.
