Can someone engine management options to me?

Hey guys, I have searched alittle but cant really find some of the information Im looking for. Ive been looking at the Pettit unlimited ECU and had a few questions about it. I looked on the Pettit Racing site and couldnt even find it, so if there is a simple link that would be great Ok, when I get this is there anything that needs to be done tuning wise? Do I need to run a boost controller with it? Does it help performance (is it worth buying) and are there any other engine control options I should look into, thanks.

Adam

It comes pre tuned, if you wish to change you boost levels then yes, it should help you and safe guard you to an extent if your modding your FD further. There are many other ECUs but as far as pre programed, pettit is considered one of the best.

Alright, thanks for the info. Also, is there any benefit to running a front mount IC if Im going to be adding the ECU, DP/MP/Exhaust and intake or will stock suffice? Thanks.

Adding a FMIC make a difference from the stock mount. keeping a stock intercooler is your choice. You wont get any problems if you stay with the stock intercooler with DP, MP, and exhaust. Buy by getting those exhaust mods your motor will relase alot more backpressure taking in more air than fuel. So having an aftermarket ECU comes in handy for that. Though getting a FMIC will add a few HP as so will keeping the internal combustion temps a little lower due to cooler air.
