Question Can someone answer this question for me please?

Okay, by now you've read many of my threads that are related to boost spikes. I have a question that no one seems to be able to answer.

How can I keep the spike and be safe? My normal pattern now is 13-13-14.5.......whcih isn't too far from what the pattern was before the MP install. I have a M2 ECU and I talked to them, they didn't say my car was in complete danger, all they said was they don't "recommend" running a MP with that much boost.

So, what if I get a AVC-R or one of those piggyback type things, couldn't I just program more fuel for the secondary turbo? Also, Sunoco makes a racing gas called Supreme N.O.S. which they say is a very "thick" gasoline and almost ensures that your engine will run rich....should I try some of this as well?

I know the engine will handle the boost and the turbo's as well, I rarely ever drive my car anyways, I'm just sooooo worried about fuel delivery and detonation....

You're runnin' all of that and don't have a boost controller?!?! A b.c. is a must have if you're pushin' the stock turbos to the max. That would be my recommendation. They can only handle ~14.7 psi and anything over that would be.....well.....you know.....ouch.

M2 is against running a MP with a stock ECU even if reprogrammed(which they do not offer). I think the reason has to do with the fact that the stock injectors are too small to handle adequate fuel with a MP. Especially at high boost levels. And maybe the stock ecu can not be programmed for larger injectors.

When I replaced my hiflow cat with a MP and dialed in about 2% more fuel on the PFC, my injector duty cycle went to 93% at only 12PSI boost. I'm now running 1200 secondaries.

Get 1200s and a PFC and be safe.

First off you need some kind of boost control. Then you need more fuel to safely run that much boost on a consistent basis. PFC is the best solution if you want to stay sequential since it has a built in boost controller and can accomodate larger injectors. Don't waste your time and money with piggy back stuff or high octane gas/additive - do it right (yes I know that cost more money, but you gotta pay to play).

But I'm not certain from your post whether you're spiking to 14.5 or suffering boost creep. Is your wastegate ported? Even that may not be enough to control creep.

Ummm...creep, spike....what's the difference?

I dunno...it's always the same....12-13psi on the first turbo and through transition.....then 14-15psi on the second turbo...unless it's really cold outside then it climbs even higher.....

When you say boost contraller you mean like a GReddy ProfecB or something like that? What is that going to help, I've asked that before and evryone said it wouldn't help, the only thing that would work is a ported wastegate.

?!?!?!?!?!?

You could try to port the wastegate. Some members tried porting the wastegate and still experienced a boost creep. However, it helped a little bit. Another thing you can try is to change the pill. The problem with running a midpipe is that most likely it will cause a boost creep, which is what I'm also experiencing right now and I have the Power FC. I'm having a boost controller installed right now and I changed the pill. I will find out if these two mods got rid of the boost creep on Tuesday.

With that much boost you are definitely hitting the peak on your injectors, be careful.

Sounds like boost creep to me. As I understand a spike would occur as the 2nd turbo comes online. Porting the wastegate should help. I had this done when SR Motorsports upgraded my turbos. If I were you I would go back to the stock cat untill you can get bigger injectors and port the wastegate. A boost controller will not help you now because the stock wastegate simply cannot deal with all that flow.
