Can someone answer an a/c question?

I have been troubleshooting my a/c and all signs are good but getting no juice to compressor, the ohms on the compressor are ~5 so the coil is good imo, also there seems to be no apparent mechanical issue.

Upon feeling around the top of the compressor I came across a loose wire/connector. It is behind the from electrical clip about 1 inch or so and is connected to the compressor and has a wire about 7 inches or so long with a white connector. Can anyone tell me what this connects to? It may be the source of my problems.

Thanks for the help.

I dunno about that wire, but my A/C had similar problems. Sometimes it would turn on, the off. I took out the dash and got to the A/C thermostat (I think) and I started messing with the little screw type adjustments. I had to close mine a little to get full time power. I then used nail polish to seal it and prevent it from moving.

If your having electrical problems, def check out behind the dash..
