can i use my crv in place of my bov
i went thru dozens of threads trying to figure this out but here we go....i was doing a non sequential conversion and i misplaced my stock BOV and now i cant find it!!!but i still have my CRV can i use this in place of my BOV? i want to start my car but i dont want to wait to get a new one.

It's dark like Poe.
I thought I read somewhere that you couldn't or shouldn't use it as such for an extended period of time, but I think that was in the context of testing a sequential setup.

They both work exactly the same with minor differences in the vacuum needed to open them. You can use the CRV as a BOV. Some non-seq people leave both on with the CRV hosed as a BOV.
Even aftermarket BOVs do not all open at the same vacuum and many come with spring shims to increase the value if so needed.
You question shows that you need to study turbo systems more.
