FL Can I use an FD automatic brake pedal in a tranny conversion?

I have a very specific question regarding an automatic to manual transmission conversion.

Can I use my automatic FD brake pedal assembly in the conversion and if so, what exactly do I need to do to modify it? (IE: cut pedal off, etc)

I've read every post on this topic and many posts are conflicting.

Thank you,

You certainly won't be able to use it without modifying it. I guess you might be able to cut it but I am not sure it will ever sit in the correct place.

Why don't you just buy a used brake and clutch pedal? Far easier.
