There is a good price on this intake on www.nopi.com 214 bucks. Its hard to fit many aftermarket intercoolers with this intake so beware.

Honestly I was quite fond of that intake.

Worked really well. Noticeable difference. aluminum pipes (which i eventually polished and got rid of the blue)

This is ideal for most people who have aftermarket intercoolers (especially fmic) because the intake is positioned in good position to allow relocation of radiator.

I'd get it again if i could.

Nopi admitted that price is wrong but still has not changed it on their site. I have 3 in stock going for $295 if anyone needs one.

Since it is more of a warm air intake won't it overload the stock ic?

what do you mean overload, since its not cold air? which would be a good alternative to this unit, i have just read that test showed the apex filters are hands down the best, thanks, scott

I second that, Apex'i filters are the best, there has been numerous test done to prove that they filter out contaminates better than most, while still being efficient.

I guess this is a little off topic but this jogged a question I had.
Can you use the Apex filter with the M2 Cold Air intake? After I read the article at http://www.gtrowner.com/induction.html I really want to use the Apex filters. If the M2 doesn't work then I guess I'll have to make my own. I was just wondering if anyone else had tried this.

M2 with Apex filters...

I have been thinking this too. I should know soon. I currently have Apex intakes and will have a used M2 by Saturday. I think that the Apex filters are going to be a little too big...

I'll try it out and let you know.

yeah, i don't think the a'pexi cones will fit in that m2 box... has anyone tried to make a heatshield/box for the a'pexi intakes? i imagine it wouldn't be that difficult if you had some decent tools (which i don't have). i think re amemiya actually sells a simple but effective piece of sheet metal that goes around their intake in japan that i haven't seen available here. my only concern w/ the a'pexi intakes is that w/ a stock ic, having an open air intake is going to likely mean higher overall intake temps...

There were apparently two versions of the Apex intake, one came with the longer aluminum blue pipes and the later version with the short collars like you showed in the pic. I'm assuming you use the stock pipes with the second one. Anyone know? Jason, which version do you offer?

Ack, Coop, the radiator fans are going to blow hot air right into your intake...and you are running it through the tiny stock IC. I would keep you boost at modest levels until you get a larger IC.

Be careful. :)

Twinturboteddy: Hey, did you just connect the 2 main pipes to the intakes and disconnect the other pipes that connected to the stock intake box?

I have a HKS intake and hardpipes I am wanting to know if you can just hook the intakes to each hard pipe and not connect the other intake hoses, just disconnect them and plug them up or something.

Anyhelp would be appreciated!

The Apexi Intake that comes with blue tubing, ONLY comes with their intercooler kit.

If you buy the intake by itself it does not come with that tubing. I have the intake that comes with silver bezels that the intakes mount to. They are $215.

Hey wassup Jason.

I just bought your Greddy Type S bov and custom piping with flange kit. I am the one who was tryin to do a custom job with my apexi BOV.

Can you answer my question about just using the 2 main hardpipes to the intake and disconnect the others and plug them up?
